Problem: This particular AV installation company operate nationwide and use mobile phones
to communicate with their engineers. The company were using 10 mobile phones provided through a network. The network had given them the cheapest package available but crucially had not asked where the mobile phones would be used.
When the engineers were using the phones it very quickly became apparent that they could not get the coverage they needed. As they travelled round the country they would hit black spots and couldn’t therefore respond to their customers requirements. This led to engineers having to make several return trips to customer premises and to a loss of business.
Solution: Trojan provided mobile phones to the engineers on a pay-as-you-go basis using different networks. This enabled a testing period to see where the engineers were travelling and which network provided them with the best coverage.
Having conducted this survey, Trojan was able to provide a mobile phone package that best suited the engineers’ needs.
